Contracted power
In your room, how many times did the electrical panel turn off? Did you know that, in the vast majority of cases, when the electrical panel shuts down, it is due to the high number of equipment connected simultaneously?
In these cases, the contracted power is less than the consumption of the equipment that is connected at that time. The contracted power makes it possible, therefore, to know the number of equipment that can be connected simultaneously, so the more equipment you want to connect, the greater the contracted power must be.
The contracted power can be consulted in the initial part of your electricity bill, in a specific area that varies from trader to trader.
Electricity customers can contract 13 different powers from electricity suppliers:
1,15 kVA|2,30 kVA|3,45 kVA|4,60 kVA|5,75 kVA|6,90 kVA|10,35 kVA|13,80 kVA|17,25 kVA|20,70 kVA|27,60 kVA|34,50 kVA|41,40 kVA
When choosing the contracted power, you should take into account the energy class of your equipment (the better the energy class, the lower the consumption) and the number of equipment that must be connected simultaneously to carry out your daily tasks.
In a simple way, you can determine the contracted power as follows:

How to change the contracted power?
If you find that the contracted power is above or below your daily needs, you can request a change in the contracted power, in writing, to your electricity trading company, or through its website, by filling an online form.
When changing, the supplier is obliged to modify or replace the material that belongs to him in order to adapt the value of the contracted power, without bringing any cost to the customer. There is only room for updating the warranty deposit.
